Build an even stronger bond with your grandchild as you engage in activities and adventures aimed at deepening your relationship with each other, the Jewish community and Israel.



Pass down precious family narratives, life experiences, values and legacies around Jewish experiences as part of fun and engaging monthly activities and adventures.



Travel together to Israel to discover the extraordinary sites, rich history and deep, inextricable link between the Land of Israel and the Jewish people the world over.


Jewish Grandparent(s)
and their

Jewish or non-Jewish Grandchildren
Grades 4th through 7th


The pairs will participate in fun and engaging monthly sessions, featuring hands on activities, meaningful conversations and memorable adventures (virtual and/or live) culminating in an eight-day trip to Israel in December 2019.

Sessions revolve around four pillars:
Grandparent/Grandchild Relationships
Sharing Your Values
Inspiring the Next Generation
Israel and its Global Connections.


One Sunday per Month
April through December

Israel Trip
December 23-30, 2019


The program has been deeply subsidized by the Jewish Agency for Israel.

$1,750/person plus airfare

The Jewish Federation will provide
$818 scholarship for local grandchildren

Rodef Shalom will provide
$800 subsidy to the first 5 pairs that signup
regardless of affiliation
